If you are a member of PacifiCare or
Secure Horizons and want additional help to quit using
tobacco, you can enroll in the Free & Clear Stop Smoking
program.
The on-line program consists of 7 booklets, each focusing
on a different part of the quitting process. The booklets
are in PDF format so you can print them as needed. If
you are new, start by reading Book 1. If you are ready
to quit, start with Book 2. If you have already quit and
need additional support, select any book that may help.

How to get
started?
- Enroll by calling
1-800-292-2336 (TTY 1-877-777-6534), Monday-Friday,
8 am - 5 pm, Pacific Time. There is a $20 enrollment
fee for the program. If you decide to use nicotine
patches or Zyban, there is an additional fee.
- Upon enrolling, a Free & Clear Stop Smoking
Quit Kit will be mailed to your home.
- Once you receive your kit, your personal specialist
will call you to review the program and get you started.
Together, you will decide when your additional support
calls will take place: at home, at work, morning,
afternoon, or evening - whatever works for you.

What's included in the program?
- Personal telephone support with a Free & Clear
specialist over one year.
- A Quit Kit that includes a Guide to Quitting Tobacco
and a Tool Kit.
- Access to nicotine patches or Zyban. (Pharmacy
benefits are not available in all plans. Limitations
and restrictions may apply.)
